A Note on Observers at Support Groups

Observers are not permitted at NAMI support groups. The NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group and the NAMI Family Support Group operate according to the NAMI model which does not allow for observers. Students and professionals interested in learning more about mental illness, please consider requesting a free presentation of the In Our Own Voice program, in which persons in recovery from mental illness describe their experiences in a structured format development by NAMI.
